Paul
Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake pie-maker Paul
You’ll not meet a chap more awesome or cool!
He slaves all his days making dozens of pies
But Paul never grumbles, Paul never cries.
With the radio blasting, Paul’s life is a dance
Around his small shop he will jive, rave and prance.
Paul will serve you a smile, a big ray of sun
And free of charge you are reminded that life should be fun!
Alice
There lives a girl of fire and flame
You shouldn't touch or ever tame.
Her name is Alice and she burns bright.
Don't ever try to dim her light.
Lucky stars if you meet her eye;
She'll show you kindness you cannot buy.
Now tapped, locked up, you'll hear her sigh.
But caged birds still sing and she won't die.
She is the girl of fire and flame
And the world may whip her but will never tame.
Hurt has happened and she won't be the same
But she is still the girl of fire and flame
And will always burn bright and win the game.
Wendy
Wendy works in a world of books
She knows their crannies and their nooks.
She guides lost souls through papers and pages.
She’ll find you tales from all times and ages.
Wendy’s task is great indeed
To cater to each reader’s need.
On dusty shelves treasures lie in wait
Hoping for a literary date.

Wendy will find you a perfect match
A novel or poem she’ll soon dispatch.
A recipe for the perfect roast
Or a ghoulish tale of a phantom ghost.
Wendy’s library has something for all
So come and hear the library’s call!
The Wandering Writer Project is my latest quest:
To write the stories of people living right in your nest.

what he gets up to when you're not his guest?
All of us have a story to tell .

The Wandering Writer is a community based writing project aiming to celebrate the lives of the extraordinary people who live in our towns and villages. Through wandering the streets and meeting the everyday folk of an area, Beth creates an anthology of short stories telling the tales these wonderful people's lives. She aims to give voice to and immortalise the unsung heroes in our communities.
